Conference Experience Overview

Preconference Activities (June 15–16)

  • Pre-conference activities begin on June 15 with educational tours of the slave and the military museums, where you will be immersed in the unique history and culture of the country.
  • Participants will enjoy a city tour of Luanda, capital of Angola. Located on the beautiful Atlantic coast of northern Angola, you will see the country’s largest city and one of its busiest seaports.
  • Preconference activities will end with a reception on the evening of June 16.

General Conference (June 17–19)

  • The General Conference will begin June 17 and end on June 19.
  • The event is expected to draw hundreds of governmental and nongovernmental participants from the southern Africa region, including leaders and heads of state.
  • Our invited US speakers include renowned Attorney Ben Crump, Dr. Ky Dele, Dr. Milton Mattox and other US experts in Africa Trade and Artificial Intelligence.

Post conference Activities (June 20 – 21)
1st Tour – Angola Heritage & Natural Wonders Post-Conference Tour

A post conference tour will include educational and cultural visits outside of Luanda to offer a deeper understanding of Angola’s natural beauty. We will visit the mesmerizing Miradouro da Lua with panoramic views, slightly similar to the Grand Canyon. It is a colorful extraterrestrial looking formation shaped by erosion, a geological marvel that truly lives up to its name. This breathtaking site offers visitors a glimpse into an otherworldly landscape, making it an essential stop for anyone exploring the Angolan coast.

Conclude the tour on Sunday, June 21st with a unique worship experience at Kimbanguist Church, a remarkable African mega church built by its congregation with over 1 million followers.

Post-Conference Tour (June 21 – 26, 2026)
2nd Tour – Johannesburg & Cape Town-South Africa

A post conference tour will include educational and cultural visits to Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa, offering participants a deeper understanding of the country’s rich history, culture, and natural beauty. The tour features iconic landmarks such as Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela spent 18 years as a political prisoner, as well as the Apartheid Museum and Hector Pietersen Museum in Johannesburg, providing powerful insights into South Africa’s historical journey.

Participants will also experience breathtaking destinations including Table Mountain, the Cape of Good Hope, and scenic coastal landscapes, along with opportunities for cultural immersion, shopping, and dining. Additional highlights include guided tours of historic Soweto, wildlife experiences such as a safari at Pilanesberg National Park, and vibrant cultural showcases. This immersive tour offers a unique blend of history, nature, and culture, making it an unforgettable extension of the CIMPAD conference experience.
